Portraits
Besides the obvious idea that I'm really into fashion, I also happen to be a lover of the arts…particularly, drawing portraits of people that inspire me. I haven't drawn one in quite some time, but I thought I'd reflect on a couple that I've done thus far. The one above is Miranda Kerr for her KORA Organics line. I saw the ad in a magazine, and her beauty was so striking to me, that I just had to draw the picture. The intensity of her eyes, the shadowing of the hair and lips…it all came together as a perfect image. This was definitely one of my favorites.
I also drew Candice Swanepoel. Besides the obvious fact that she is one of the most gorgeous models, this picture stood out to me as well. It is a moment frozen in time. I have many more artistic creations, but I just thought I'd share a few! :) Let me know what you think!
